I've been such a lazy bum. Haven't updated for ages. And i think this blog layout sux. but i just refuse to do anything. =P
Passed my final driving theory, not bad considering it a first attempt. I was admittedly kinda kiasu.. haha studied and looked through everything i could. the online theory lessons, theory book and most importantly the 400 MCQs from past yrs test guidebk which i got from joel. Also had my 1st lesson last week, haah i remembered being so tired when i got there..it was friday 2055hrs, last weekday of the week totally drained. But I still found it quite fun and interesting, though the clutch thingy is quite a nuisance. Guess its a matter of getting used to it. My instructor got so bored of me practicing reversing and moving off that he fell asleep.. HmmpHz...Only after i told him i'm confident liao den he let me proceed to driving round the circuit.. haha certainly looking forward to this sun's lesson.
Broke away from the normal routine during the last weekend.. went to cheowlit's house in jb to stayover for the weekend with daryl. Kinda enjoyed ourselves.. it was pretty sinful considering the amount of food we gorged. haha I constantly felt full sia...hahah seriously not exaggerating. Snacked around in city sq and A&W! haah.. missed A&W curly fries man! and top it up with a rootbeer float..yUm! Had dinner with his family at some chinese restaurant which was quite a drive away from JB..but could understand why their family has been going back there all these while. after trying the food. haha. Went for supper at midnight at some street hawker/opitiam place.. the chee cheong fun was really oiishiii~~ Was quite convenient for us to get around as cheow drove us.. to shopping and stuff.. yea.. sigh when will be able to drive around?? think should be sending him off this sat afternoon..
Work at medical centre seemed to have taken a toll on me ever since I've taken over as dispense i/c. Sianz... I always feel likei have tons of work to do.. haha.. Wads worse those snr medics/regulars are not making life any much better by implementing lots of new policies and systems. Whole load of crap. Ppl say xin guan shang ren san ba huo, but i think we have like as much as jiu(9) ba huo... so many newly appointed ppl trying to "show their power n garangness" and trying desperately to prove themselves at the expense of us lowly NSFs. Argh.. haaha we're like peons.. "work work"...WTH...we shld lead an uprising!! But fortunatley, ppl there are rather fun and nice to work with la... perhaps the only nice thing at the medical centre is the people there ba.
Hmm wadver it is, the weekend is near le! at least for me now, all i can do is to look forward to weekends and driving lessons.. and of course ORD.

Just had chemical defence course back at Nee Soon today..Haha we navy personnel were really balonglong.. whole group go for break but returned 10 mins late... den water parade when the rest were using that green ugly bottle we were taking out our civilian fanciful bottles..haha quite a funny sight. Basically the whole course was kinda slack.. they gave us super long canteen and lunch breaks till it becomes very sian haha. the only irritating part was just doning of the freaking thick and uncomfortable suit. And tmr should be a half day..yeah..
Just to share sth.. My friend working in the chamber was telling us that day that was this guy who came in with DCI(decompression illness) - a condition where air bubbles, mainly nitrogen gets trapped in a particular part of a body due to rapid ascent during diving.. ( a result of surounding pressure decreasing too quickly). In this case the DCI occured at his balls(ya u din get me wrong, testicles). So his testicles became twice its normal size. But then, Dr Lee heard it wrongly, he thot it was his penis that became twice its normal size.. so he exclaimed," why is the patient still complaining?? shouldn't he be happy about it?" hahaha

Sianz i just lost like near 35 bucks over mahjong this weekend. Sighz. Utterly disgusted. Had breakfast at delifrance this morning.. obviously it had to be kenvin's treat! with me contributing roughly 50% of his earnings... I will have my revenge next time!! LOLx
Met up with william and a handful of jc classmates on fri night.. Was chilling and crapping around while munching sushi at the suki sushi rest in cini. Well william is flying off this coming sat to US naval academy for 4 years.. All the best dude! Been MIA for some time.. hmm let me recall what had happened... okie think i went sailing for a week which i kinda enjoyed though I complained initially. HAha. Was practically like doing nothing everyday onboard thanks to wonderful Dr Mathew who believes in doing everything himself. never seen any other MO like him before. A real nice guy. And can u imagine he's presently studying diploma in law at the meantime while serving his NS.. and he's aim is obviously a double degree.. Law + Medicine??!!? Can you imagine how powerful will that be?
He was telling me about the mistakes that doctors make in hospitals and i vaguely remembered there was this case where there's this patient who came in for some minor surgery. Prior to most surgery, patient has to fast for a certain period of time before entering the OT.. so this guy fasted and everything seemed perfectly normal to the doctors until just before the sugery, they found his vital signs deteriorating and slipped into coma.. so they panicked and scrambled to find out what's wrong wih him, and to their horror, his hypocount was 0.8 (hypocount refs to blood glucose level, and for normal ppl is 4.0 and above, so 0.8 is really very low...). They tried to revive him but it was just too late.. Apparently his hypocount was falling steadily all the while(probably a diabetic pat) just that nobody monitored and bothered to check his condition. Everyone assumed it's just another normal case and hence leading to their negligence. Sighz. though doctors are human after all, and have the right to make mistakes, but when such mistakes occur, who will be so forgiving? not the society, and certainly not the relatives of the deceased. Tough job.
He was also telling me about how lawyers in the US station themselves outside hospitals chasing after patients or relatives asking if they want to sue the doctors for wadsoever reason, causing them unnecessary trauma, pain or even death. Hah..

I'm going sailing! from tmr to fri. to nowhere. BIG SaiGang. will return just in time for the weekend. Haiz... rubbish la.. wad under clinical no need to sail... in the end still ask me to sail out of convenience. Wadever la... go sail can leave medical centre work to pile and rot. Den i will go for off next weeek when i come back! LAlala Bo ga lAnz.
StarWars was quite disappointing. or maybe my expectations were high. It was just pure regurgitation of the story line... no adrenaline rush.. quite boring. think it was just an OK movie. and $9.50's really not cheap man.

Just had MIPA(Medic Individual Proficiency Test) this morning.. I was the only one that managed to insert an IV(intravenous infusion) successfully.. haha. Thanks to my buddy's quanwen good veins LOLx. He created a mini Mt Everest on my forearm on mon man.. he couldn't dislodge the catheter.. at such when he tried to force it in... the catheter kinked and instantly a bump started to grow on my arm... eeks... haha taumatising for me as I haven really got a haematoma before during my CMC period at NEE soon camp.. haha i was laughing hystericaly.. quite funny...
Had a jc class bbq at huangyi's place... went there early to help him with the food and stuff... Haha it was my first time trying to deshell raw prawns and clean and prepare a squid... kinda gross but interesting... found a minute fish head that was partly digested in the squid hahaha. in the end i think the cheese prawns and sotong tasted the best! and its part of my hard work k! =P
the turn out for the evening was great and considered significantly better than usual for our class outings..even though many other ppl were overseas and blar.. heheh.. had fun catching up with u guys.. all the crapping and joking ard...it was a nice feeling to meetup again. stayed over at huangyi's place for the night playing bridge and watching dvds.. Hope we can meet up soon..

hmm munching some muah chees i bought from taiwan as i typed along... today was my first official full working day at medical centre since roughly more than a month ago? was having super monday blues...feeling super sian and time really seem to crawl by really really slowly. think i have officially taken over dispensary.. so no more sailing for me as I have crossed over to the clinical side.. maybe if they are kind enough they will send me to one good trip b4 i ORD in june next year. Sighz hope i have not made the wrong decision by taking up the job. been comtemplating and weighing the pros and cons for awhile... think its time for me to settle down for the next half of my NSF life. enough of sailing for me. anyway, roughly only 1 out of 4 sailing trips are good, good as in there is a port of call, other times we are just floating around the seas and oceans. moreover, my parents dun really like me to sail. u know, safety reasons so as they presume. so far, i've been to Pattaya,Penang and Kaohsiung with the navy.. frankly speaking there are not many places(that the navy visits often and are nice to visit) left.. maybe except bali and phuket..but think my mum will make a big fuss if i have to sail to bali. also, not having to sail also means that i can give tuition and do do things that require me to commit my time every week. tuition lobangs anyone??
Played mahjong at ken's house on sat nite. It was really outrageous! within 4 rounds(east, south, west, north) ken won 50+ bucks. Me and weepoh lost 3 bucks each, ( we split our earnings n loses as we took turns to play) and kc n tw lost 20+ each i think. was too tired to go for another round.. nvm we shall recoup or losses this week!
hmm theres going to be a class bbq this sat at huangyi's place.. hope the turnout would be good. haven seen u peeps for a while.

Wow.. this week is really like so shuang.. tues off, weds i went back to work, but my mo gave me mc when i went to see him from my sore throat,so iwent home to sleep by noon, today off as well due to Navy Day, tmr half day off as i'm just required to report at changi med centre by 1.00pm. LOLx. think i kinda rested well enough, just that my voice still sound abit weird n eeky.
I went to sing ktv today! despite my sore throat..hahaha. i was basically entertaining them as i went off key at the high pitch part of almost every song. was with my pri sch classmates.. nice meeting them after like almost a year ago.. time really flies..was reminising abt the old times and talking abt how everyone and other ppl in our pri sch were doing.. hahah quite interesting..

I had about 4 , 5 days to explore Kaohsiung after minusing duty onboard and stuff. Weather there wasn't as cool and welcoming as i thought. sighz. it was freaking hot! just that u dun sweat as much as u do in sg. Kaohsiung is filled with towering giant shopping malls, with many familiar deparmental stores, isetan,sogo blah blah. They didn't have much to offer, no cheap bargains. except for kuah... who enjoys oogling at the shiseido ladies at the comestic section..haha. heheh the only thing that was interesting was the tian ti xiao jie, who will press the lift buttons and go on rattaling and introducing abt what each floor/level have to offer, while everyone in the lift actually pay no attention to her at all. poor thing lei. =P
things in taiwan are generally expensive, except for food i guess. thats like also the highlight of the trip! really enjoyed the street snacks at liu he ye shi, the equivalent of shi lin ye shi in taipei i suppose. Yum yum! i got sick of the xiang ji pa(chicken cutlet w lots of MSG) by the 2nd or 3rd day.. Lots of interesting stuff to see at xin jue jiang, a place equivalent to taipei's ximenting.. its like heeren but open air concept..
bought quite alot of local products, like taiyang ping(sun biscuit?), nai mei(milk prunes) and also some souveniers.. i had so much things to carry that i had to travel two times when I disembark from my ship..
talking abt sailing.. sailing on LST certainly is very different from many other ships. I was rather busy thru out this trip compared to my prev trips.. basically on LST there's actually a fully equipped medical centre facility.. and basically we have to see sick parades everyday, being the only medic onboard and given the no. of shp crew theres quite alot of things to do.. i'm also suppose to help to clean parts of the ship, like sweep floor mop floor wash toilet... abit not used to it cox i normally do nothing onboard other smaller crafts hahaha. but in a way time passes alot faster this time round. i was assigned to bunk together with the divers.. haah they really know how to enjoy.. brought 2 tvs, 1 ps2, 1 xbox, 1 dvd player.. they were a group of very nice ppl.. let me play their games, eat their tibits, snacks, help me out and stuff... i lobang one of their car back home on that day we reach sg as well. haha there was one time they tried to get me drunk.. we were playing this card game. each person are given 3 cards, the total points were added up and only the last digit was to be counted. eg, u get 2 kings and a 6, the total point would be 26, and therefore u would get 6 points. so the person with te smallest points would have to drink a small cup of chivas.. mind u its 40% alc.. and we are drinkning it without diluting it.. i was super duper heng... they kept missing me... so i din drink much.. hahahaha but i stilll got an splitting headache the next day.

Hmm.. the genting/kl trip wasn�t exactly as ideal as how I thought a holiday should be. But its definitely an experience of a lifetime. Imagine upon reaching KL and having pissed off by the hotel manager at the reception and eventually led us to a frenzy search for another hotel to stay overnight, Sweating like a pig everywhere we got to, (even in genting), facing hordes of ppl and overwhelming long queues everywhere we go, a crappy hotel room n service at 1st world hotel in genting, 2 hour delay in our return coach and an EIGHT hour bus ride back to Singapore. Hmm sounds really bad hor.? Haha but despite all this shit.. I think we still managed to have lots of fun.
A first overseas trip with my sec sch buddies comprising of tw, tj, ken, kc, wp, ronnie n sw. hmm the main objective of the trip was to get together and have fun, and I�m sure we did. Its kinda amazing how we are still meeting up like almost every week, laughing at the stupid jokes n actions we make or even at the slightest thing, keep thinking of things to do together during weekends despite graduating like 3 yrs ago le. Really treasure this friendship=)� BUT dear pals� pls�I dun think I�ll want to go on another holiday like this ever again. =P
Bought 2 T-shirt, a pair of sneakers for myself from Chinatown in KL� were relatively cheap as we bought in bulk..we had 8 ppl so bargaining wasn�t a problem. Ha. Original intention was to get a backpack or sling bag as well.. but there weren�t many nice bags around unlike last time.

hmm will be onboard the ship in roughly 2 hours time? Hopefully i will be back by 30th morning or even earlier.. *really praying hard*. Really want to go KL/genting with u guys but just that the timing is soo rush.we shall see. Nonetheless i'm going to enjoy myself in gaoshiung, taiwan. hope the weather will be nice n cooling. ayz.. i'm on duty. my 1st weekend duty in like a month plus. wad a boring saturday! did 6 weekday n 0 weekend duty for the month of march.. mindlessly and brainlessly blogging here and trying to email nice songs from the com here to my email account.
My GODLIKE streak has been ended by KC and TW! hmm i'm refering to mahjong here...not LAN.. lost 20+ bucks last night after winning consecutively for 3 weeks... guess my luck has finally ran out.. oh maybe weepoh wasn't around!! or i wasn't wearing red!! haha. anyway TW seem to have all the luck that i was having for the past weeks..argh *EVIL*
kinda sick of LAN decided not to join ken they all after work on fri... find it pointless to rush down all the way from tuas and feeling all tired and sian. went home freshen up and have a quick dinner and watched the last episode of jie da huan xi.. that show has really been good entertainment after a stressful day of work... the brainless humour certainly made weeknite dinner sessions more interesting =) for the past few weeks.
met up with mcvin at bishan for awhile before proceeding to ken's house.. had this iced earl grey + aloe vera.. found the combi rather interesting n further more it was a chef/popular recommendation.. decided to give it a try and it was indeed kinda refreshing.. cool stuff..

Played mahjong again yesterday.. felt like a du gui.. but the good thing is that i've won for 3 consecutive weeks.. MuAhahahaha.. No la felt kinda evil... keep winning ppl's money. win until paiseh. LOL. ok shall not so xiao zhang. had a belated birthday celebration for kenvin's birthday at kenvin's favourite restaurant - swensens( think its cheows fav too. Simply dun understd wads so gd abt there=P) anyway it's Kenvin'as birthday so he wins. Talked abt rubbish n slacked abit and out of the blue we decided to have a short getaway to KL and/or genting during the labour day long weekend. Haven really worked it out yet.. but we need to get this sorted b4 me n weepoh leave for taiwan exercise nxt month.
Was looking at my own blog past archives.. hmm there was indeed a period of time that i did conscientiously make the effort to blog every day or every other day.. and to my amazement the entries were FULL of complaints and grumbles... Hahaha... and to think I was kinda happy when i was in jc everytime when i looked back. perhaps tts becox i only started blogging only in j2, when i start to feel the heat, Perhaps its my natural ability to only choose to remember more of the happy n enjoyable moments, and the tendency to blog and forget abt it when i'm feeling down. hmm self delusion? think its more like having a way to make one's day/life a brighter n a less gloomy one. =)

finally i'm back here... and this time round with a brand new com from my home. at last rite. have been using the same com since sec1.. can u imagine my pain and agony haha=P. bought it abt 2 weekends ago i think. really must thank alvin who accompany me down to sim lim and relentlessly help me install all the necessary programs at his house over the night. thanks buddy!
yay going to taiwan next month from 4th to 22nd! and i'm going to sail on a LST(landing Ship Tank). but its going to be only me and 1 MO thruout the whole trip.. really pray hard that it will be some nice guy if not it would be miserable and sian trip. wonder how many days of shore leave we wil get there.. oh we going to gaoshiong only.. so no ximenting, taipei101 and stuff... nv shall go there by myself some other time.
my superior just broke some very very dire news. according to him there's this pontentially HIGH risk job, and they will have to undergo lots of tough and specialised training such as learning how to throw grenades, operate several types of weapons, FIBUA and stuff. Its a very operational and real situation we are talking abt here, where its real no-joke and to be it crudely u might just die anytime. My superior said as they haven got enough time to train medics, as for now, they need 2 medics and expected to undergo training. THATS COMPLELELY INSANE.
How can they send us NSF to do such things and expose us to such life threatening situation...not that i'm not willing to protect my country, but not in this manner. I would not hesitate to fight if there's war, or any immediate danger, but certainly not risking my life and doing something against my own will. Hey i'm just serving my duty as a male citizen, not working or slogging for the organisation. I'm not a regular, and i'm not receiving regular pay either. most importantly of all, i dun have the mindset of a regular, i dun "mai4 ming4". My attitude towards NS is just serve and say goodbye, and along it just learn anything useful and make new friends. never has cross my mind to pia.. i simply find it pointless, that kinda explains why i'm not in OCS or sispec. for me, as for now, at least i find my job though tedious and boring at times, at least i'm still helping ppl to get well, stay healthy or might even save their lives one day. Haiz just hope my CO dun send anyone of us.
Went on this total defence trip today.. at first i thot its going to be another heritage tour like those we have had during our sch days.. but it turned out to be a really interesting trip. really impressed by the wealth of knowledge the guide possessed, was like sharing lots of stuff with us. some of the things that might be interesting to note.
1.the swastika symbol that hitler used, was actually adopted from hinduism, which represents purity, and for suggesting the aryan german race was actually the puriest form of all mankind. obviously the hindus weren't very happy abt that. the buddhists also have this swastika symbol but its in the anticlockwise direction.
2.Inside the sumpreme court, the chamber where they keep the accused, has a trapdoor beneath which leads to a cell. cool stuff hor. its to transport the accused directly to court if he's a public figure to shield him away from the media and press.
3.Suntec city tower1,2,3,4,5 are build to represnt the 5 fingers, (notice 1 of the towers is shorter), and the fountain of wealth which represents the palm, has water flowing inwards towards the centre, signifying growing or reaining wealth.
4.there's this posh thai restaurant named 1827 at the old parliament building which is refurbished and now called The Arts House, which apparently chief justice and many cabinet ministers like to dine there. . if there's of interest to u.

Arghz have been sooo lazy to update this blog.. sorry folks. =P where should I begin?
Hmm just came back from hong kong on mon.. not sailing.. by plane finally. Consider it a short getaway with my family.. really enjoyed the weather there.. I really miss the desserts and dim sum there!! All the almond, walnut, wad etc etc..paste wahz..! yumm.. had to grab one bowl of them before going back to hotel every night. Really was mai dongxi, chi dongxi, mai dongxi, chi dongxi all the way. Haha. Think will be sailing to Taiwan this or next month.. yeah certainly looking forward to having shore leave there as well. Then can continue to mai dongxi, chi dongxi =P
Taiwanese drama serial dou yu 2 is really worth watching. Didn�t have a very good impression of it initially. Always had reservations for sequels and part 2s. haha. But this is quite an exception. Engaging and touching.

Went out with Joan and quite a number of classmates last weds..didn't really felt like a farewell dinner, felt more like a normal class gathering.. or should i say a more successful one... cox more then usual no. of ppl turned up. Felt good and certainly enjoyed catching up with u guys. All the best n take care Joan!
Took my MIPA(Medic proficiency test or sth lydat) on mon.. ran quite smoothly and easier than i thot.. manage to rattle on and on the steps that had to be performed..
despite having a small hiccup at the 2 man cpr while assisting jihui.. was screwed by the infamous blackie.. irritating guy.
Been eating non stop ever since like CNY eve? or eve eve.. Haha.. Tmr going to kc's house and weepoh's house to continue on my gourmet tour. Do i sound like a glutton or wad?=P Dun be scare to invite to your house. Went to this restanrant called noble house at shenton way on 2nd day of CNY.. is under tung luk grp of restaurants i think..superb food.. haha den went on to kenvin's house for a steamboat dinner. Headed down to PS for a late night movie.. Constantine. Its was a rather dark movie i had to say. Abit hard to understand as well due to some christianity and satanic references. But shouldn't be a problem as long as you follow closely. Cool sound and visual effects too. Good movie to catch.

Happy 20th Birthday Chek Wun!
Heya.. going duty again.. been doing duty for 2 consecutive weekends.. quite sianz.. wad to do who ask me late for duty that day.. but i'm fortunate enough to serve my extra this month instead of next month.. if not i'll probably be at med centre watching ch5's or ch8's "CNY special" I'll be doing duty on chu san.. quite alright la.. at least is a normal working day but i bet everyone is going to take off...hmmphz.. starting to eat those CNY goodies liaoz..*YumZ*
Attended the commissioning parade at SAFTI last sun.. went with weiping's family and xuanzhi.. hmm it was quite an elaborated parade with proper fanfare band and even an religious blessing ceremony.. where representatives from the 9 main religions in Singapore gathered to so called "bless" the newly commissioned officers.. quite an eye-opener.. that was even a command for the parade to bow.. first time see this kind of thing.. met alot of familiar faces among the audience and graduads-a term they used. of course they were many proud parents embracing their own sons.. feel happy for you guys weiping(Congrats to ya!), william(welcome to tuas n cya there!), vernon(sword of honour winner! how zai is that!!)...blar blar many more..its definately quite an remarkable feat to go through the 10 months of torturous training and shit.. was also glad for weiping and xuanzhi who looked fine and happy together=)
bought the SHE vcd.. haha they're so cute! my fav MV had to be jing zhong zao tie bu shao and da nu ren zhu yi.. duno why i like this album of theirs alot.. compared to previous ones..
I'm thinking of taking up Jap again.. accompanied qw n kuah to this Cmabridge language school at Peninsula Plaza to enrol in basic Jap class.. so i shun bian enquired them if they have any placement test.. like see if i'm qualified for the intermediate class.. haha surprisingly they got their Jap teacher to speak to me on the spot.. den the next moment she was like rattling on and bombarding me in Jap.. hahaha i was able to make out wad she was saying and asking.. but it took me like ages and a tremendous effort to reply her qns in jap.. i was stammering and probably speaking very bad, broken Japanese..hahaha. jialat lei.. hahaha... fortunately she was very patient with me even when i blurted out some english words from time to time when i was so bekcek haha.. quite comical. Their lessons mainly focused on conversational Jap which many lang centres do.. anyway the intermediate lessons start in late mar.. so i shall see how till then.. for now maybe i should go take out my old textbooks to refresh.. hahaha

spend the afternoon revamping my blog at the medical centre.. yah duty again.. hmm "stole" somebody's design and used it.. haha cheapo rite. but i changed most of the wordings la. so it can still be considered my creation. liked the dreamy theme and mood it presents..
came back from Penang on tues morning.. docked at Changi instead of Tuas. there was this guy onboard that had high fever of 39.0 the night before and was allergic to Panadol.. haah because of him i had the chance to use the satelite phone onboard(theres no network reception out at at sea)to contact the MO onboard the other ship.. there isn't any MO on my ship. haha it costs US$19/min. cool stuff=P. anyway after some consultation with the MO,realised that i could do nothing much but to monitor and sponge that poor "brain fried" guy till we reach Changi.. so thanks to him I could escape the "customs check" and evac to med centre immediately along with my pirated dvds in my bag.ahaha
There's really nothing much at Penang.. was so bored by the 3rd and 4th day there.. btw we had 4.5 days of shore leave there.. freaking long. sat by the batu ferringhi beach like for an afternoon..ya the one swept by the tsunami... everything seems normal there, just that its abit quiet given its proximity to the beach resorts and hotels. could only see one or 2 chap parasailing.. and some angmohs sunbathing.. a couple of horses being strolled along the beach offering rides to tourists... bought some tau sa piahs,dvds,a mini mahjong set and some souveniers.. didn't spent as much as when i was in Pattaya even though i only had 3 days there.
going to see the OCS commisioning parade tmr.. Congrats to all the soon to be officers!! SIR! *salutes*

went to j8 to cut hair and shop for some stuff.. it was SOO crowded.. hmm there was this performance think the organisation or theme is called SHINE or sth.. where dance/cheerleading groups from Japan, Korea, SG & Msia come down to perform... quite happening and interesting sia..Some of them r not bad looking..hahaha..

Hmm going to sail again! Going to Penang for this Sg and Msia Navy Joint exercise from this mon to until 20Jan.. going to stay at Penang for 4.5 days.. quite shuang sia� but that means a higher probability to spend more.. think areas affected and damage done by the tsunami over there is kinda limited.. so that shouldn�t be much of a worry.. the only down side is probably having to sail on a MGB.. the smallest, lousiest class of ship that the navy has and is going to be phased out like within next two years. I�m betting on the fact that the sea state at straits of Malacca should be quite calm since is a non-monsoon period and there shouldn�t be any more aftershock or tremors. Hahaha hopefully everything will be fine.

Happy New Year to all� hmm just when everyone thot that 2004 was a rather smooth and fruitful year such a saddening and shocking thing had to happen� haiz wad a way to end the year man. Sighz. The overwhelming death toll and unimaginable extent of the tsunami damage is real scary.. to think that the navy regularly visits all these places involved.. Medan, Phuket, Penang, India and 2 of my fellow navy medic friends just came back from Medan a week ago� quite thankful that we�re all safe and sound here.. will be sailing to Penang next week for an exercise.. hope things will be fine over there by then. My senior medics flew off on thurs as part of the rescue medical team to Aceh.. and a few of us are on standby� had to stay back on thurs to screen and vaccinate all the crew of LST sailing to Medan/Aceh�200 over ppl.. as a result I couldn�t meet elvin sy yt u guys.. my apologies.. aye really count ourselves lucky to be born in disaster-free Singapore.
KungFu and Fockers are real hilarious.. though they belong to very type of humour. haha now at medical centre doing duty.. wad a day to spent christmas day rite! but not too bad la.. we ordered pizza n stuff.. me n joel brought lots of chocs,cake in to feast as well.. din even need to go and pack lunch haha..
sort of celebrated x'mas yesterday with my cathhigh kaki.. went kenvin's house.. brought and ordered lots of food man..pizza,sushi,ken's mum cooking,roast chicken blar blar and not forgeting the almond jelly i made. so much that we couldn't finish n even kc surrendered.. haha. played LAN(yep again) n later in the night mahjong.. aiya 1st time i lost the most... think its cox me n fren kept taking turns to play... den cannot maintain momentun..hahah k crap..certainly had lots of fun man. quite thankful to have this bunch of friends that simply dun get tired of each other.. ha
spent quite alot of money this month..sheeshz.. xmas stuff..some shopping plus kept visiting restaurants this month... swensens twice, sakae, ding tai fung within like 1 week... jialatz siaz..hahah nvm la.. its xmas!

sort of celebrated x'mas yesterday with my cathhigh kaki.. went kenvin's house.. brought and ordered lots of food man..pizza,sushi,ken's mum cooking,roast chicken blar blar and not forgeting the almond jelly i made. so much that we couldn't finish n even kc surrendered.. haha. played LAN(yep again) n later in the night mahjong.. aiya 1st time i lost the most... think its cox me n fren kept taking turns to play... den cannot maintain momentun..hahah k crap..certainly had lots of fun man. quite thankful to have this bunch of friends that simply dun get tired of each other.. ha
spent quite alot of money this month..sheeshz.. xmas stuff..some shopping plus kept visiting restaurants this month... swensens twice, sakae, ding tai fung within like 1 week... jialatz siaz..hahah nvm la.. its xmas!

Yeah I�m finally done with all my christmas cards for this year.. all sent out liao.. hope I dun last min receive from some1 which I didn�t sent a card.. hahaha.. Watched Oceans twelve this weekend.. haha there were so many twist and turns to it.. I really see until abit blur but still more or less know wads going on� I find some of the twist are actually kinda hard to digest and rather ridiculous. But no doubt its one of the better movies to catch. Yeah will be watching meet the fockers on 31st with the navy guys.. some unit anniversary thingy I think.. the thriller is really hilarious and is definitely one movie not to be missed.
Just met up with cheowlit.. he just came back from Perth for summer holiday.. had a good chat with him over dinner just now...
Didn�t really enjoyed my last sailing from mon to thurs last week.. my ship was just suppose to escort this gas tanker ship out to north sumatra and return to sg.. so there�s no port of call� well thank god there were no pirate attacks.. but the ship crew was rather unfriendly and didn�t feel like interacting with them� so I was like quite anti social thru out the whole trip.. was sooo sian until u cannot imagine� I only had 2 magazines with me la� got one stupid sgt even stole my pillow.. haiz hope I will not sail onboard that ship again..

hmm... dun really know wad to blog... anyway here's an quick summary of events this week..
spent my off on mon and tues out with chek going sushi tei and kbox.. had initially wanted to catch up with some of my jc mates but i got abit irritated by their wishy washy and lukewarm response.. no offence la.. but well wad can i say...
nearly had to sign extra which means get punished on thurs... had this marina city park cross country run medical cover which there's this MO(medical Officer) bag that was one of the items we had to bring along.. so we just happily loaded the stores and to our horror later realised that the bag was kinda empty with all the resus drugs missing... after much enquiry we den realised that we took the wrong bag.. there were 4 bags altogether in the dispensary but we din know that in fact only 1 was functional with all the stuff in it.. the dispense i/c forgot to specify that b4 going on leave.. but its also our fault that we didn't check... our snr medic later claimed that he woun entirely blame us cox we wouldn't know wad that bag contained as we were not taught b4.. and moreover its our 1st time bringing a MO bag.. sighZ..
had my routine on sat.. so guess i shall not harp on it.. watched alexander on sunday.. i think it totally sucked.. it was so boring and fragmented n abit confusing at times.. and they tried to potray alex as a homoseual or maybe bi.. dun even know if there's really the case.. aiya.. wad a dumb movie.. didn't really like the way the whole story of alexander was presented..
going to sail again on monday.. should be back by fri or in time for the weekend..

Phew I'm back! 10 days plus out at sea is really no joke.. i was on board a patrol vessel this time.. got kinda seasick for the 1st few days.. super sianz.. my 1st lunch on board ended up in the vomit bag.. the feeling of puking really sucked apart from dizzy spells... quite jialat man.. i only got used to it on the return trip.. felt better also partly because the sea was much calmer..but den its so freaking boring on the ship... basically i have no assigned duties or so called "watch" to perform.. and so basically my rountine is sleep, eat,sleep.. pretty slack.. and help out abit during domestic(when they tidy up the place) watched dozens of dvd, vcds man.. including polar express..haah save money.. played risk/monopoly with the ship crew too.. haha.. the ship crew were generally very nice and friendly ppl.. at least never bully me la.. always ask me to eat ..all like da ge ge and jie jie to me... think i'm the youngest on board man..all of them regulars mah. but think the chef is realy superb.. the ship rock here rock there still can produce reasonably nice food... like nasi lemak, pineapple rice, pasta, curry chicken... but i dun dare to eat too much.. dun relieve the "pukey" feeling again..
had 3 days of shore leave at Pattaya.. had to say it was quite an eyeopener.. i spent like close to S$200 in 3 days lor.. crazy rite. went ard with quanwen the medic onboard another ship that my ship had travelled with... we spent our 1st 2 days shopping and eating... haha we kept eatin those stuff that is super exp in sg.. haha quite dumb.. but that place seem to solely exist entirely for angmoh tourists.. the whole streets are sprawled with angmoh tourists(mostly male seen cuddling or flirting with thai gers*no joke*, cafes & restaurants serving western cusine, pubs night clubs) went to this place called "walking street" at night... the whole streets are lined up with pubs, night clubs, some shops and resaurants on both sides.. wah we were really dazzled by the neon lights and overwhelmed by the pounding music just by strolling along..super happening.. u also can see PROs all dressed up.. some in sch uniform..bikinis all sort of pattern la.. standing outside those clubs...have to say most of them are really far from chio man..HAhaha n i dunno why all those angmoh man still loved to be surrounded by hordes of them.. i find it quite gross la.. hahah too innocent.. den as u walk along the streets of Pattaya at nite u will keep being approached by ppl askin if u wanna watch strip show, massage( dunno wad kind) n blar..buay tahan.. just walk off and ignore them lor.. the nightlife in Pattaya is really wu guang shi se.. all the shops n eateries open till like 1,2 am... think alot of places outside sg are the same.. haiz boring sg.
We were finally done with shopping on the 3rd day.. and after much procrasination we finally went for a thai massage at this rather posh and established spa-like parlour. we didn't dare to venture into those roadside parlours in fear of receiving "extra and uncalled for services" despite their significantly lower prices..haha basically we wanted to stay clean and out of trouble la. massage was certainly refreshing and shuang.. felt revitalised and "lighter" after so much walking.. there was also annual buddhism associated festival on our last nite.. called Loy Katrong or sth lydat.. whereby they make use of banana leaves, flowers like orchid, chrysanthmum to make small floats and light candles and joss stick on it.. den release into the seas or rivers. it is believed it will bring good luck and takes away all the ill luck misfortune for the the person along with the float to the seas.. quite cool... we bought a "float" dunno wad u call that la each and made our own well wishes too. its really a sight to behold alongx the Pattaya beach that nite.. with lots of sparkles and even fireworks.. so chio! haha..
that kinda sums up my trip in Pattaya... hmm i hope next sailing trip would be as fun too... but i dowan to sail so long on a small ship anymore.. hope to sail on a Landing Ship Tank(LST) next time... confirm woun get sea sick one...

Having mixed feelings with regards to my first sailing trip. i was on board a MCMV (mine Counter Missile Vessel) , a ship which is used to detect mines planted in the sea for abt 1 day for some firing exercise..its interior is very nice.. and the bunks and dining area looks abit like the star cruise type.. carpeted and stuff haha.. very comfy bed also with comforters.. quite shiong.. one of the better ships in he navy..hahah but the bad thing was i got kinda seasick.. didn't but nearly puked.. the ship was rocking very badly whilst at South China Sea..felt so dizzy and clumsy that i didn't wan to get off the bed.. some of the crew puked as well.. its quite weird cox some of the crew kept asking if i was ok think i really looked super zombish when i finally got off my bed den..i thot i was supposed to take care of them as a medic hahaha.. fortunately the sea became calm towards noon.. hmm had to say the sea out there looks great.. really blue.. the colour is really diff from the waters around sg..just vast seas with no lands near enough to be visible.. really quite cool...hmmm will be sailing to thailand this sun.. hope i dun get too seasick whlist on board.. hmm on off tmr yeah...
Sg idol was kinda funny..i only watched after 830.. the judges gave some hilarious comments abt sylvester.. Ken:"u better hope the ah bengs andah lians will vote for u.." and there was Florence imitaing syl's mispronounciation of geesss(kiss) in his song.aiya i think taufik will win but i hope olinda will win.. i think syl will not have eough ah bengs and ah lians to support him hah we shall see tmr lo.

feeling quite shuang this weekend actually...haven had so much time to slack at home for quite some time.. super long weekend..plus no duty or cover! just sipping tea and listening to songs..hahaha...To all my fellow friends/juniors mugging for exams: your time to shake leg and sip tea at home will come soon k =P Jiayou and work hard yea. going to chinatown to eat with my parents and buy some stuff b4 going to ken's house to play mahjong later...
went ronnie's house to play squash,bball, swim etc yesterday... despite being quite a sports idiot still managed to have fun... beginning to dev some interest for squash.. at least now i can serve properly and volley a little... haha..swimming is still the best..
SHE got new album..AGAIN... they produce albums like clothing company introducing new apparels for every season.. waste money one lor... doubt i will buy it tho i still support them. Yanzi's album is still the besta! haha.. alot more fast paced and def more variety than prev albums.. like the first 3 songs - ben, wo de ai ,zhu ni kai xin and the7th song tong lei the most. think i will go buy the robbie williams greatest hits compilation too.

hey a big thankew to those who remembered my bday last week! esp to my cathhigh clinque.. really had fun that day hanging out at east coast and later chilling and having supper at somerset.. think its really nan de that we are still meeting up at least every other week or even every week and still got so much stuff to crap about. really glad to be able to foster and maintain such wonderful friendships. wonder wad will become of us when we're all attached next time.
kinda addicted to the Warcraft DOTA version... been going to lan shop for the past 2 weeks just to find myself spedning hours on it.. think going to play later again.
going to be real busy next week and the weeks to come.. duty on tues, going to sail a short trip with no port of call for weds and thurs, fri got medical appt.. and mon 22nd i will be off for a 2 week trip till abt 6Dec..the ship will call at Pattaya in Thailand.. yeah den can go walk walk.. mai dong xi chi dong xi Rest assured i will behave myself k.. though we all know wads Pattaya famous for and thats wad the shipcrew will prob do... hahah i sound damm vague here. but i woun do such things la ha. haha hmm must ask my senior medic for OFF on weds and fri net week. heheh. at least all my public holidays and weekends are not touched this week.. NO duty!

its 7am sharp.. i'm sitting on a double decker bus travelling along misty lornie/adam rd... No its not bus 74.. and i'm certainly not going to school.. i'm on 165..on my way to clementi, where i will catch the train to lakeside and board the shuttle bus which will eventually take me to Tuas Naval Base..for a moment it really felt like i was still in HC.. and its just another morning bus ride to school.. hahaha.. hmm i'm posted to fleet, so i'm basically a fleet medic and will have to sail quite oftenly.. so during other days i will work 8 to 5 at the medical centre.. but i think its more like 6 to 8 cox its at Tuas... was really quite sianx when i first learned of my posting.. but after 2 days there i kinda feel that that place is not that bad after all.. ppl there are quite fun and pleasant to work with.. makes u enjoy doing ur work.. and time passes kinda quickly.. but still abit apprehensive with regards to the sailing part.. i hope i will still be in sg for most of the time.. whether when will be my maiden trip.. haha.

hmm another weekend gone... sighz.. kinda apprehensive yet looking forward to this week.. going to have induction or more well known as hell day this week.. where there is goingx to be non stop activity or rather tekaning sessions for 48 hrs without sleep.. and thereafter we are going to POP from this underwater medic course le.. hope i can take it man.
went sentosa on sat with the usual grp of my jc classmates which i normally hang out with..played volleyball, frisbee.. quite shuang haven slacked and been to beach for quite some time.. quite a nice way to spend sat afternoon by just sitting there crapping abt our lives, looking at chiobu.. went ken's house to play mahjong after dinner.. hahaha poor weepoh lost abt 50 bucks to me and tzewee.. heheh..

just had dim sum at j8.. and saw fann wong having some autograph session there! wah she still look as good as ever.. hahaha... still rem i was like crazy over her last time...oops... think was during the period when she starred in this ch8 drama regarding orchids with thomas ong.. aiyo was like chasing every episode of it.. sheesh i feel old=P read in iweekly shes gonna shoot another drama serial with that thomas ong again.. by then i should be freed..8 to 5 le.. haha yeah... bought shorts at samuel and kelvin and they gave me a huge plastic bag with S.H.E on it! gonna keep this very nicely..
watched new police story.. surprisely it was more intriguing than wad i had expected.. the whole show was quite gan cheong i should say. and it didn't contain too much "Jackie Chan charecteristic exagerating stunts".. actions were kinda realistic.. loved the plot too.. quite engaging and diff from the normal "HK police catch thief series".. the Cai zuoyan, one of twins was damm funny and cute during the part which she whined to her father... hmm would think this show is one of the better hk production after infernal affairs.. go watch it if u haven =)
this week's training was a stark contrast to last week's madness man.. the only xiong day was prob mon..when we swam 10 laps and thread water for 15 mins wearing our coverall.. wah the coverall was so damm bloody heavy! so much resistance.. den following the swim we had a 2.4 run trial.. mad la.. but for the rest of the week we really had minimal PT.. hahaha becox got parenxts complain... it was quite funny la.. there was a complaint letter to HQ medical corps, 2 xphone xcalls to semb med centrxe askingx to talk to our super garang course commander.. hahah.. as a rxesult.. they kinda tone down theirx trxaining and didn't confine us this week.. yeah.. booked out on fri evening.. heheh.. and up to now we still dunno whose parents of ours were behind these complaints.. or maybe that guy refused to admit..hahah

how irritating.. my stupid com is driving me nuts.. i dunno somwhow wad i have typed just now just got deleted just lydat! k shall now just summarised what i entered just now...
yah so now its now comfirmed i'm a navy underwater medic! but the course i;m undergoing now is really hell.. worse than my bmt..my course commander a doctor/captain a SAFOS scholar, is simply super garang,mad, pyschotic wad so ever... he stays in with us, makes and accompany us run 3,4 k and swim everyday..on top all the lectures we have from 8 to 5 everyday.. gives us lots of PT and standby bed.. the standby is really mad la... he also tries to make the course "more interesting" by doing weird stuff... like making us make flags and have us split into 2 groups and have silly competitions like naming of ships, evac of casualties, and even fencing.. as he claims that the stunts and squating positions in fencingx can help us improve our standing board jump.. and he turns us out int the middle of the night to have change parade and PT session.. moreover, the way he doesn't really shout or scream when he scolds us...he will just go"give me 20 pushups" .. sayingx it without any strength and yet maintaing a straight face... worse of all he totally disregards our 5 day work week and claims that he's not confining us but giving us etra training.. at such we booked out on sat evening... su la we are all so demoralised lor.. think he's just goingx to rob us of our weekends... but fortunately this course is only 3 weeks.. or 3.5 weeks.. must endure man...
the turn out for my class ppl during maf lst week was pathetic.. only saw yf,wp,elvin and william.. can u gers pls wake up ur idea? haha j/k Nonetheless, had fun just bumping around and catchingx up with other friends and also our seniors.. their "attendance" was a much respectable no. compared to us of course. juniors.. haiz think they are basically all mugging la.. chek treated me and kc to dinner at thai noodle h0use too.. heheh.. but i dunno itz only the few of us or me.. kinda felt that the "maf spirit and atmosphere" wasn't as strong as when we were j1.. anyway they say maf still going to continue in the yrs to come despite the merger.. but i seriously doubt how it will be like net time with chinese high..eeks

yah so now its now comfirmed i'm a navy underwater medic! but the course i;m undergoing now is really hell.. worse than my bmt..my course commander a doctor/captain a SAFOS scholar, is simply super garang,mad, pyschotic wad so ever... he stays in with us, makes and accompany us run 3,4 k and swim everyday..on top all the lectures we have from 8 to 5 everyday.. gives us lots of PT and standby bed.. the standby is really mad la... he also tries to make the course "more interesting" by doing weird stuff... like making us make flags and have us split into 2 groups and have silly competitions like naming of ships, evac of casualties, and even fencing.. as he claims that the stunts and squating positions in fencingx can help us improve our standing board jump.. and he turns us out int the middle of the night to have change parade and PT session.. moreover, the way he doesn't really shout or scream when he scolds us...he will just go"give me 20 pushups" .. sayingx it without any strength and yet maintaing a straight face... worse of all he totally disregards our 5 day work week and claims that he's not confining us but giving us etra training.. at such we booked out on sat evening... su la we are all so demoralised lor.. think he's just goingx to rob us of our weekends... but fortunately this course is only 3 weeks.. or 3.5 weeks.. must endure man...

haven blogged for ages manz... time really flies.. 9 more days to end of my combat medic course.. and i will finally be leaving this screwed up place.. SMM.. its a super inefficient, wayang and runned by dumb warran that are real losers and irritating man..
life has been alright and kinda fun if not otherwise due to having to bear with the nonsense from our CC.. made some interesting friends like gerald mcvin khengaun blar blar and much more. learned quite of alot of medical stuff as well.. such as drugs, resuscitation procedures, cpr, AED(defibrilator) and most inmpt of all IV. have become quite saddistic.. instead of being scared of needles, we more than overcomed our fears and now like to see blood spurting from our veins when we pull out the catheter and enjoyed looking at ppl's veins and go" heres a nice vein to IV!" haha..

I finally overcomed the inertia and decided to write again.. I feel so lazy nowadays.. can�t stand myself.. everyday seems to buzz by without much sense of purpose ever since I passed out from bmt..
I can only say I�m really super lucky to have landed myself in my present vocation.. a navy combat medic. Still waiting for my course to commence.. hence its 8 to 5 for me till 5th July.. everyday just go sembawang camp there to do some admin stuff.. make phone calls� super super �no discipline� life unlike in bmt la..
Did this pressure chamber test thingy at RSN Naval Hyperbaric Centre.. which is part of the underwater medic selection process.. we had to go inside this cylindrical, metallic chamber which didn�t look very welcoming.. it looks kinda old and it really reminds u of ghastly gas chambers which ppl are killed in wartime.. hahaha.. btw one of the chambers that was still functional was left behind by Japanese during WW2.. thank goodness we weren�t using that one..
The test was to see if we could adjust to the pressure that was 10m below the surface of water.. the whole experience was really quite cool and interesting.. we had to keep clearing our ears.. the MO taught us to squeeze our nose and try to blow through our nose.. which I found it quite difficult and tedious.. hahaha.. so I used the �swallow saliva� method and guess wad.. I had to ask for a cup of water like after 10 min.. salivary glands not efficient enough..
My senior cum colleague gave me a lift on his bike today.. yea I admit I�m a suagu.. never rode on a bike b4.. I was really quite scared for the 1st 5 min when I was on it.. I was like dun drive so fast!!!! Hahaha.. I felt like I was going to drop off at every bend he made in the camp.. but as we sped out along the main road I really felt adrenaline rush man.. real shuang.. very exciting.. he was like going at 90 at some point as the traffic was rather light.. really quite fun..
Have been eating a lot and not exercising man.. eating like 6, 7 meals a day.. 2 breakfast, lunch, teabreak, dinner, and sometimes supper.. and not counting all the snacks that goes in between meal times.. I wonder how many pull ups I still can do now.*grins*
I think that ch8 drama hai you ming tian is going to make me cry someday� the fact that is based on real life stories makes me sadder..
Now then I realized that Far East plaza has quite a lot of nice food.. ate the chicken rice.. quite nice.. must go there and try more stuff next time.

P.O.P le! heya having my 1 week break now.. so shuang.. suddenly tonight i dun have to book in haha. just crossing my fingers now and praying that i dun see SISPEC on my monitor screen this fri when i check my posting..

SighZ.. i've just accepted NUS science.. they din even gave me any other options. accepted NTU bioengine a couple of weeks ago too.. still kinda undecided wad to do actually. shucks la i still dun have a very clear direction with regards to wad i wan to do in future. really wished that i could have got into medicine.. but its kinda far fetched for me now. just have to resign to fate that i'm not as good or as lucky as the rest. dun have that kind of money to go overseas too.. Survived my field camp and 16K route march.. i din purposely fail anything as i planned to initially so that i can get into a slack unit.. just find it too hypocritical if i really did that so guess i'm on my way to sispec now... which i vowed not to go..dun think i can make it to OCS either.. had actually wanted to slack thru my army life.. but now it doesn't seem to be coming true.. my friends in sispec and OCS are all like struggling and having a hard time now..
feeling quite helpless and "directionless" now.. ayez.. evrything doesn't seem to be going the way i want.. or rather i dun really know wad i want. ironic manz...
went marina south just now to eat zheng fa seafood.. its the same bbq and steamboat thingy.. but the food there is like nicer compared to other stalls.. we've given live prawns to cook.. felt super sinful about it man.. it was still moving and struggling when we put it into the hot boiling soup.. kinda cruel.. but it really tasted kinda fresh and tasty though.. hahaha

din have a very good start this week..
when i 1st stepped into the bunk, my friend shouted RAT! instinctively i asked "where??"
"into your cupboard!" was the reply i got... wad the hell!! very carefully, i opened my cupboard and almost immediately the rat jumped out and scurried away to dunno where... everyone spent like 1/2 hr trying to find the rat but still can't find it...
as i returned to my cupboard to unpack my stuff.. to my horror, i found rat droppings on my clothes and my cereal packaging apparently broken by the rat.... damm sianz!!! wad the F*** so sway!! so i had to take out everything from my cupboard and disinfect/wash everything... and wads worse i was caught by sgt for not sleeping after lights out.. fortunately he was nice enough not to do anything to me if not i would be down for guard duty now...
den the next day... the stupid PC choose me to be the platoon iC.. i such a chao slacker everytime do things take my time one den now ask me to be platoon ic who has to rush ppl to fall in... wad a joke. fortunately think i did a fine job la hahaha.. everyone was quite cooperative heh... so not a v difficult task and evrything kinda went smooth for me... just found it quite ironic that i dun exactly wan to go into sispec or ocs yet they choose me.. where they are so many ppl who are dying to have an opportunity to perform.. i just wanna slack through my army life.. =P
hope to catch a movie later... my usual 4-8 peeps like not free today... sianz.. think the stupid tekong bug has really hit me... my throat feels sore and my voice is so "sexy" and husky... can't stand...

having trouble deciding between life sci and bioengineering.. could someone be kind enough to advise me.. sian kinda accepted the fact that i can't be a doctor... unless 1/2 a million dollars drop from the sky and allow me to study med overseas.. sighz

hmm apologize for the inactivity for the past few weeks.. haven really found time to update..
so much things i wan to talk about.. but i have t be selective hahaha.. hmm this is like my 3rd or 4th week into BMT? it doesn't seem too long ago that i was still having my carefree civilian life and volA! * i'm in the big tekong FARMily* have to admit i'm kinda super lucky to end up in Scorpion CompAny.. really must count my blessings.. super welfare company man! hahaha we have like breaks like in between every lesson.. a minimum of 2 hours of admin time everyday(admin time = own free time), a min of 25 push ups if there's going to be any punishment.. permitted to bring any amount of food into our own bunks.. hahahaha and lots more la.. BUt i wan to stress that the training is the same among other companies la..
guess there must be some whitehorsey within us.. but still dunno exactly who they are.. heh must get to know them! haha

had quite a fun-filled weekend.. those NS guys passed out on thurs/friday.. so managed to go out with them.. watched the eye2 on friday evening... hmm quite freaky.. the whole row of my friends were like covering their faces for more than half of the show.. had to say the cinema had a very brave audience, no one screamed! come to think of it the storyline and "tricks" and methods to scare ppl quite lame also.. but was kinda impressed with shuqi's acting skills.. think she will get some award man.. give 3.5 stars out of 5 la
went to mos burger to tell ghost stories and later talked crap till abt 1+ am...den headed to kenvin's house to play mahjong.. wahz they bullied me lor.. really regreted playing man.. i was so super tired.. cox the prev morning i had to wake up at 6am to go sch to teach mah.. so i was like 24 hours din sleep liao.. i kept losing money lor..lost 10 bucks to ken and anxother 10 to weepoh.. shucks man..
after going home to sleep for 3 hours. i rushed out to little india to meet my ex colleagues.. wad a place to go rite.. den we walked to bugis la.. talked alot of crap and updating each other abt wad we were doing la..rushed back to HC at 7 to catch capriccio..
i"m really proud of my juniors man.. had to say they put up a more vibrant. interesting and entertaining performance manz.. the comtemporary pieces were livelier.. not so dull... and the percursion ensemble! was just good mAnz..! felt ashamed of ourselves lor.. they did sth like the riverdance.. lots of sticks strokings performance. really very very kewl... haiz well maybe we had syf..so lesser time to prepare...hahahah *excuses*
went to crystal jade with my parents just now... wah i really loved the walnut paste dessert... super nice.. go try it next time u all go there!
bought the five ppl u will meet in hevean book.. its been a long time since i spend money on books.. 29.40 lei.. going to read it during the babysitting and free periods i have in cathhigh... abt halfway through liaoz.. real interesting.. reading it slowly so that i can save it for my free periods in sch...
talking abt cathhigh... wah laoz that day while i was babysitting onxxe class..to my horror they were playing ouija boards lor... or known better as bi xian.. really had to stop them and scold them..though i can't really eplain why they shouldn't play.. aiya just warn them not to mess with such unorthodox stuff la.. den the ne day i went into the same class again and found them playing arm wrestling.. crazy class lor..

Happy BirthDay Kenvin!
think i'm becoming a ktv freak.. went paradiz centre kbox today.. and guess who dragged me there... of all ppl...weiping..HAhahaha...it was a eupho and tuba session outing anyway. first time i hear weiping sing after knowing him for close to 7 yrs.. other den during that syf period while we're practising that gloriosa piece..
went to thomson plaza to make myself a nerdy spects for NS after that.
Had lots of fun yesterday..met vin and weepoh for lunch at pivdofr at liang seah street..opp swensens in bugis junction. its a continental rest but mainly serves western food.. ate there a couple of time..quite a nice place with nice food at affordable prices.. set lunch costed 12.90... with starters dessert and everything.. go try..haha
met up with more ppl to play lan after that.. and went ktv at night to celebrate kenvin's birthday..
me and tze wee bought him a book entitled The Frog Prince - Continued. its a real hilarious picture book depicting how the frog prince was so not used to being a prince after being kissed by the princess by the pond side.. by the way for those who dunno kenvin that well.. he's being call froggy teo during sec sch cox he really looks like it with his spects on.. hahahaha oops.. *sorrie kenvin for baotou-ing u* =P
come to think of it i have been quite "evil" when buying my friends birthday gifts this year, first was joaling and her piggy soft toy and now is kenvin with this froggy book.. hahah wonder who will be the next "lucky" victim..hope i wun have retribution on my birthday.. hmm its still so far away..hahaha

3 gundu robbers escaped into tekong from malaysia.. have to mobilise so many ppl to find them.. and my dad just came back from tekong after some dunno wad meeting... jialat manz.. thanks to them think the NS guys are slacking in their bunks i guess.. haha
went swimming today despite my aching muscles... later went to suntec to walk walk with my usual peeps.. and was almost lamed to death by zhijian.. dun rem him being so duhz before going to nj..hiyoz..
spent the entire morning filing up my notes... i only managed to clear physics.. see how lazy i am... i only starting filing them when i'm done with my As.. hahaha.. had wanted to do that earlier in dec but my mum stopped me from throwing everything away and argued that i may be retaking my A levels.. DiAon rite... whose mum on earth would actually think that her child is going to retake As.. yeah finally can get rid of them..

wAhz... my whole body's aching like hell!! have been "training" for ns lately.. can't believe my days are freedom are numbered.. siAnz.. have been hearing lots of stories from my pals... and *tAda* its time for my turn now. time flies man...
finally decided about my choice of courses.. arghz heck..I'm just gonna whack... put medicine 1st choice though i've got a disgusting c5 for GP..but i should really count my blessings lor... really amazing that i've got 4 As.. have been really thinking quite alot.. practically every doc discourages us to follow their footseteps.. but despite knowing all the minuses for chosing that career path... super long working hours, gruesome and bloody and messy situations, no social life, blar blar.. i think i will regret for not putting medicine as 1st choice leh... so haiz.. just go for it and hope for the best manz.
going to do away with life sciences... dun think i have so much patience to study all the way to masters or phD just to do research.. and wad if i'm not smart enough to do masters or phD.. den i'll become a teacher.. eekz. so 2nd choice shall be chem engine la..
tempted to go watch the eye2... eye1 was kinda freaky...

Yay� I have finally decided to blog.. wad an nice afternoon to laze at home and play some nice music or radio and having some occasional cool breeze entering through my window.. have been raining/drizzling ever since I reached home just now..
My apologies to suyi.. who accompanied to this job interview for a coca cola drinks promoter job today which only wanted to hire guys..LOLz.. and had to trouble her to travel halfway back to her house to get yesterday�s newspaper due to the blunder I made over the company�s unit no. haiz� anyway I got that job liaoz which means which I have to reject that robinsons one which I applied for earlier� guess this one is better coz the workplace is just at thomson plaza and allows me to do relief teaching in the morning as the working hours are from 1pm to 10pm.. and its a longer term job.. pay quite reasonable also..
Have been searching for jobs, going for interviews these few days.. yes I am kinda desperate for money hahaha.. wads worse was that I lost yiting�s ez-link card and had to give her mine! (long story) And now I am using an adult one� hmmphz.. really regretted being so kind to offer her my card� so stupid of me rite =X (yiting I know I shld be guilty but AArghz� k hope they will find ur card soon to alleviate my misery) and I had to re-register and pay for my driving basic theory test again becoz I was late for 15 mins for the test on that day! Wahzz so gek!!!! I was like begging them to let me take the test but they suanned me by retorting that they had no reason to let me take the test and claimed that if I can�t even follow the simplest regulation of being punctual,den how to follow traffic rules next time! They really sux manz.. so unsympathetic and mean!!!! Poor me.. maybe its retribution.. coz I have been letting my friends wait for me very often when I go out with them.. sheeshz.. k one more thing to add to my new year resolution: kick off my habit of being late!
Watched Lord of the Rings yesterdayz� wahZ�. Fabulous marvelous absolutely great show.. 5 stars! Didn�t find as draggy as the 1st episode, enjoyed the fighting scenes the most.. really breathtaking and exciting� hated that part featuring the struggle n fight with that gigantic crawlie.. can�t stand manz� so disgusting! Other than that it�s a definitely must watch movie!!
Love actually is another nice xmas movie not to be missed.. Sound of colours(di xi tie)..hmm watched it for free.. also not bad la.. but I didn�t really enjoy it alot..but its rather different from mainstream romantic comedy�

In no time the As are finally going to be over..yay.. can�t believe I have actually survived through it� now left with physics5 and the crucial physics3.. now an update for all the papers so far�
GP was normal la.. okie I supposed.. I actually had more time to attempt the AQ compared to prelims and other block tests..
Maths1 and 2 was easy� shouldn�t be a problem ;)
Chemistry.. one big worry man.. p2 was tricky and a bit kinda application based.. got the caffeine solvent and some other stuff wrong.. p3� haiz.. I almost broke down whilst doing that paper.. my poor time management cost me 10+ marks of blanks.. I should have just given up on the kinetics qns.. in the end I spent 1 hour on 3 phy qns.. and 15 mins on 2 food chem qns.. I was panicking like mad as a result I couldn�t think properly for that organic qns7 and left it blank� had no time for it anyway� paper1 was easy though..
Bio should be fine as well� for the option, I didn�t study in detailed enough to attempt the qns on placenta, or rather we haven really attempted one in tutorial before.. so I was trying very hard to crap for that part.. 1st time I managed to complete all the qns and left no blank =) paper1 was weird man.. some qns had mcq choices that were like so ambiguous.. in the end I kept erasing the shaded ovals on the omr as I kept changing my answers�hiyo..
Physics.. paper1� wah I really had nothing to say.. Ruth repeatedly told me and huiyu that it was an insult to our intelligence.. haha.. I was hoping to get full marks but that stupid upthrust qns tricked me! Hmmphz.. bet like at least half the cohort in sch is going to get full marks! Feel quite insecure about paper2 though.. not very easy.. it was actually quite different from normal tys qns other then for some repeat qns.. even Mrs Tan warned us to prepare ourselves better for paper3 and to pitch ourselves at prelim level instead of just doing tys as the qns re becoming more n more application based..
And here am I, still slacking since after paper2.. hmm tmr morning then start la =P
I found matrix revolution quite a nice show.. contrary to what some people said.. at least I enjoyed watching for most parts of the show and understood every single part of it.. unlike reloaded.. The supposingly eye-dazzling and impressive moves of Neo and Smith during the fighting part really amused us.. me yingfeng yiting elvin had a good laugh at it.. perhaps the storyline of revolution was kinda predictable and sort of �uncool� if u compare it to reloaded and the 1st sequel.. hence some ppl found it sucky.. but everything that has a beginning must have an end rite hahha � phrase that was constantly emphasised in the show and never fails to generate some laughter in the audience..

Heya guys� wah I realised how lazy I am in maintaining my blog.. nevertheless I am back again =)
Got lots of things I wanted to say� but dunno how to start..
10 more days to maths paper1, 27 more days to freedom. Haiz I dun feel confident at all for all my subz. Except maybe for math, provided I do enough practice. Really dunno how to create the �hwa chong miracle� which every teacher or senior says is possible. All the practs are done and over with, and as usual bio pract was the one with the most controversies and greatly debated about, and our dear cambridge board must have conducted the mung bean experiment during the winter months and gave no due considerations to the excellent climate here for bean sprouting.. leading to hay wire results many ppl had in some other jcs due to the late arrival of the altered instructions from the ministry.. lucky I was in 2nd shift. Well for those who re worried about the microscopy qns and really can�t wait to find out if they got it correctly. Here�s the site I totally regretted looking at this site.
Did something quite crazy yesterday after the long grueling bio remedial yest� hahha.. I went to see SHE at taka! I bet nobody in the right frame of mind would go and waste time and get squashed by the large intimidating crowd just 10 days before our As� really got sooooo many ppl lor.. aiyoz� I went there at 7+..which by the time they already have arrived.. I couldn�t even catch a glimpse of them at all.. not even their heads.. in the end me and my frens were peering behind ppl with digital videocam so that we can see them through the display screen� so funny� we didn�t want to go there for nothing� so we persevered and decided to wait in order to get them to chop stamps on our cds� (by the way the stamps were quite ugly) haha.. we were quite lucky�coz they divided the whole taka civic plaza area into 3 sectors, and it so happened that the right sector that we were in got to get autographed first� you know they sealed off all the entrances and exits of the whole civic plaza and dun allow ppl to come in.. so u can imagine who many body guards n policemen were there.. quite amazing.. selina was looking so sianz and tired of stamping the cds, but she still managed to smile at me! Hebe looked sooo good in real life� really kawaii sooo cute� can�t stand� too bad cannot shake hands.. not like elva last time� so in the end I only waited for about 1hours+ odd or 2 hours, to get to see them close up� quite worth it.. while our dear senior HH was there for 15 hours�can�t believe it� hhah fan club�
Friendstering has just became one of the most bo liao things to do online.. I am quite irritated by it n condemn it, but I am still on it and really hooked on to it for the first few days� it seems to me as some stupid race to see who has the most friends and a tool to show off how many friends u have., However, reading other ppl testimonials, writing testimonials for ppl and receiving it from other ppl are quite fun. But come to think of it.. who will write bad things in testimonials one?

Did something quite crazy yesterday after the long grueling bio remedial yest� hahha.. I went to see SHE at taka! I bet nobody in the right frame of mind would go and waste time and get squashed by the large intimidating crowd just 10 days before our As� really got sooooo many ppl lor.. aiyoz� I went there at 7+..which by the time they already have arrived.. I couldn�t even catch a glimpse of them at all.. not even their heads.. in the end me and my frens were peering behind ppl with digital videocam so that we can see them through the display screen� so funny� we didn�t want to go there for nothing� so we persevered and decided to wait in order to get them to chop stamps on our cds� (by the way the stamps were quite ugly) haha.. we were quite lucky�coz they divided the whole taka civic plaza area into 3 sectors, and it so happened that the right sector that we were in got to get autographed first� you know they sealed off all the entrances and exits of the whole civic plaza and dun allow ppl to come in.. so u can imagine who many body guards n policemen were there.. quite amazing.. selina was looking so sianz and tired of stamping the cds, but she still managed to smile at me! Hebe looked sooo good in real life� really kawaii sooo cute� can�t stand� too bad cannot shake hands.. not like elva last time� so in the end I only waited for about 1hours+ odd or 2 hours, to get to see them close up� quite worth it.. while our dear senior HH was there for 15 hours�can�t believe it� hhah fan club�
Friendstering has just became one of the most bo liao things to do online.. I am quite irritated by it n condemn it, but I am still on it and really hooked on to it for the first few days� it seems to me as some stupid race to see who has the most friends and a tool to show off how many friends u have., However, reading other ppl testimonials, writing testimonials for ppl and receiving it from other ppl are quite fun. But come to think of it.. who will write bad things in testimonials one?
