3 day work week is here! Damn shiok. Going to watch movie tmr n sing k on thurs! Tho our dear eli has the brilliant idea of giving a maybe openbk or maybe mcq or maybe open ended or maybe combined test.
Fri sushi session at amk suki sushi was gd. 7 of us had 63 plates of sushi, with 2 of them (declined to be named) finishing most of it. And finally tried the alcoholic icecream at udders! Baileys, Rum n Raisin, Orange choc plus this snickers+mars+vanila butterscotch was yummy. They had this mao shan wang durian flavour too. must try nxt time. Everyone shld go try! its at novena/near UE sq opp starbucks.
I dun think i wan to be a quality analyst in the industry.. i still wan to get to apply all the clinical knowledge dun really wan to throw them away. And its damn exciting to hear my senior getting the dream job tt i wan. or sth tt i think i will like.

Today's 74 bus ride to sch was really a ride down memory lane, I was just swamped by a wave of nostalgia as the bus zapped thru bukit timah road.. thanks to the 165 n 52 tt never appeared for 20 mins + the unusually empty bus + unusually clear road conditions + nice cool but sunny morning with fog. Haha.
Coronnation plaza - prince, the cosy corner, the ke ai ji lemon chicken, sat band pract lunches, the mafs prince dinner..
HCJC - shall be the name tt i always rem. simi HCI la. Saw them having PE. Not the irritating mass run tho. lol Familiar place, familiar faces teaching PE, somehow their Tshirt looks too striking for my liking. I miss playing volleyball!
Sixth Ave - Venezia n Nasi bryani n Ritz Apple strudel.. OH man i wan to go there n eat nasi bryani.. been ages i had a gd one. N joa when are we going back to eat the strudel? lol
KAP - The long flight of stairs behind the KAP Macs ouside cold storage, i forgot wad happened there..but somehow i rem sth happened tt was fun..

Yawn YawN.. One down one more on friday. Can't wait for the long wkend to come.. the idea of no sch on mon sounds damn shiok.
Went out to celeb kenvin's birthday last sat. Thanks for the partial treat! So wad should we bet on this time rd? I think maybe u shld lower my targets if not u will prob be treating me every sem. Played LAN and mahjong n reached home at 4am, while my classmates were probably mugging their asses off. Left 4 dead was fun! 1st person shooting game.. shoot at zombies n witches. beats Counterstrike cox i sux at it. But its probably a couple times more headache inducing than C.S. Side effects: N/V(common)
Hmm maybe its times like this we(or maybe I) start to appreciate that I am in a rather recession proof industry, at least its a change from some time ago when i kept complaining abt how under paid n how underappreciated we are(we're still of course!) But seems like many ppl I have spoken to recently are all lamenting how bleak the job market is out there, and its really really bad except for those really really rare cases. like how ppl are offered jobs but only told to start work in jan nxt yr, and how ppl are forced to go on unpaid leave for like a yr, and how some courses have graduates with half of the cohort furthering their studies.n the other half venturing into a field entirely diff from their scope of study, etc. Well at least, somehow during the recession, we are in a slightly better shape than them. But when times are good, they are in a much much rosier n better position than us. So for now, GLOAT while we can. Okok kidding kidding.

I am so glad the day is over. PHew. Tho the test was kinda crappy but prob everyone found it shitty so i guess its okay. And i think i have to count my blessings for guessing the correct a/a for the 1st qns n deducing partially correctly for the 2nd qns.. tho i only have 3 structures out of 13. Quite heng alr i guess.
Acting lecturer showed us some of the student's blog tt blogged abt him/lect as prove tt he is "in-touch" with all the gossips n tt he knows all the d things n bad things ppl say abt him. LOL. I wonder if he asked those students b4 showing it to us during lectures. He is a really damn interesting personality la every week recite poem n almost everywk got clubbing songs and funny movies or funny gestures or pattern. And i think he's kinda crooked. k i better stop here b4 i see my blog up there nxt wk.

I finally went to cut my hair. Been 2 mths n really felt like i was going there to cut some grass. No more dyeing of hair for a very very long time again. the damage is jus too great.
Din go to the IT fair but accompanied my fren to some japanese studies thingy which was also at suntec after my hair cut. The crowd was jus amazing. gosh. It was soo soo damn blardy crowded that they had to stop ppl from taking the escalators and entering at some pt in time. the whole convention hall lvl 1 which is rather spacious is jus packed w ppl queueing to go on the escalators. I really cannot comprehend why ppl like to go to IT fairs so much even tho they dun really have things to buy. I jus get tt feeling. Madness. N come on there's a recession.
Finally got to eat taiwan porridge! Pulled fel n moony to tpy haha. N we had a great time laughing n trying to eat properly. lol

Watched e乐大赏 organised by SPH on sat at the marina floating platform.. sth like the equivalent of 933's 金曲奖。Our seats kept improving as i think the turnout wasn't v gd so we kept moving nearer to the stage.lol. Got to see chenqizhen.. her voice is like a refreshing breeze admist the ra-ra noisy event. And she played the guitar n brought along a cellist. Damn nice.
Other singers include stefanie sun who sang only 1 song (sianz), and it was some weird rendition of her dad's fav olive tree song again w some local band of uncles(opps), JJ lin, Olivia Ong, oh Aska's onion was v nice too, Show Luo ZhiXiang who was like super popular among all the deafening meimeis, but ok la he has great dance moves, shi xin hui, energy who danced well also, the HK actor Lin Feng and etc etc..
I think i m getting a chronic backache. Ok i shld refer to a doctor after end of this wk. think tt will b 14 days alr. it falls under criteria to refer if i din rem wrongly. lol.
I m craving for sushi and dim sum and lau pat sat all of a sudden. damn random.

saw the channel 5 news on tv mobile jus now. They were interviewing this engineering prof abt putting a rod on top of merlion to prevent future lightning strikes, but he said it would be too aestheically unpleasing n tt it would make the merlion look like a unicorn. lol gosh.
Then he discuessed the possibility of having a wire mesh painted the same colour on top. I can imagine some tourists would be saying.. ooh that merlion has a bird nest on it. lol. wads happening to our poor merlion man.
Good n cheap sushi is really not easy to find. Dun try the new one at the new clementi building.. variety is pathetic and was told by a waiter that having a fly in the sushi is a sign of freshness. And they are super zealous abt refilling ur green tea till it gets abit irritating. Amk suki sushi is still the best. nxt nxt wk! but it was still nice having dinner n chit chatting =)

Ok i should really blog. Ya i know mid sem break is over. haha. Had more or less a gd break. Sort of rested, studied abit, played abit. Ya quite a gd break i shld say as the pressure to mug for tests is not there. Is one of those rare mid sems that u get to relax a little, tho every1 is greedy, and will think that 1 wk is not enuff. including myself haha.
I m truly happy for some things that have happened. Tired but happy. Well sch is back again. Brace ourselves!
