3 day work week is here! Damn shiok. Going to watch movie tmr n sing k on thurs! Tho our dear eli has the brilliant idea of giving a maybe openbk or maybe mcq or maybe open ended or maybe combined test.
Fri sushi session at amk suki sushi was gd. 7 of us had 63 plates of sushi, with 2 of them (declined to be named) finishing most of it. And finally tried the alcoholic icecream at udders! Baileys, Rum n Raisin, Orange choc plus this snickers+mars+vanila butterscotch was yummy. They had this mao shan wang durian flavour too. must try nxt time. Everyone shld go try! its at novena/near UE sq opp starbucks.
I dun think i wan to be a quality analyst in the industry.. i still wan to get to apply all the clinical knowledge dun really wan to throw them away. And its damn exciting to hear my senior getting the dream job tt i wan. or sth tt i think i will like.

Today's 74 bus ride to sch was really a ride down memory lane, I was just swamped by a wave of nostalgia as the bus zapped thru bukit timah road.. thanks to the 165 n 52 tt never appeared for 20 mins + the unusually empty bus + unusually clear road conditions + nice cool but sunny morning with fog. Haha.
Coronnation plaza - prince, the cosy corner, the ke ai ji lemon chicken, sat band pract lunches, the mafs prince dinner..
HCJC - shall be the name tt i always rem. simi HCI la. Saw them having PE. Not the irritating mass run tho. lol Familiar place, familiar faces teaching PE, somehow their Tshirt looks too striking for my liking. I miss playing volleyball!

Yawn YawN.. One down one more on friday. Can't wait for the long wkend to come.. the idea of no sch on mon sounds damn shiok.
Went out to celeb kenvin's birthday last sat. Thanks for the partial treat! So wad should we bet on this time rd? I think maybe u shld lower my targets if not u will prob be treating me every sem. Played LAN and mahjong n reached home at 4am, while my classmates were probably mugging their asses off. Left 4 dead was fun! 1st person shooting game.. shoot at zombies n witches. beats Counterstrike cox i sux at it. But its probably a couple times more headache inducing than C.S. Side effects: N/V(common)
Hmm maybe its times like this we(or maybe I) start to appreciate that I am in a rather recession proof industry, at least its a change from some time ago when i kept complaining abt how under paid n how underappreciated we are(we're still of course!) But seems like many ppl I have spoken to recently are all lamenting how bleak the job market is out there, and its really really bad except for those really really rare cases. like how ppl are offered jobs but only told to start work in jan nxt yr, and how ppl are forced to go on unpaid leave for like a yr, and how some courses have graduates with half of the cohort furthering their studies.n the other half venturing into a field entirely diff from their scope of study, etc. Well at least, somehow during the recession, we are in a slightly better shape than them. But when times are good, they are in a much much rosier n better position than us. So for now, GLOAT while we can. Okok kidding kidding.

I am so glad the day is over. PHew. Tho the test was kinda crappy but prob everyone found it shitty so i guess its okay. And i think i have to count my blessings for guessing the correct a/a for the 1st qns n deducing partially correctly for the 2nd qns.. tho i only have 3 structures out of 13. Quite heng alr i guess.
Acting lecturer showed us some of the student's blog tt blogged abt him/lect as prove tt he is "in-touch" with all the gossips n tt he knows all the d things n bad things ppl say abt him. LOL. I wonder if he asked those students b4 showing it to us during lectures. He is a really damn interesting personality la every week recite poem n almost everywk got clubbing songs and funny movies or funny gestures or pattern. I finally went to cut my hair. Been 2 mths n really felt like i was going there to cut some grass. No more dyeing of hair for a very very long time again. the damage is jus too great.
Din go to the IT fair but accompanied my fren to some japanese studies thingy which was also at suntec after my hair cut. The crowd was jus amazing. gosh. It was soo soo damn blardy crowded that they had to stop ppl from taking the escalators and entering at some pt in time. the whole convention hall lvl 1 which is rather spacious is jus packed w ppl queueing to go on the escalators. I really cannot comprehend why ppl like to go to IT fairs so much even tho they dun really have things to buy. I jus get tt feeling. Madness. N come on there's a recession.
Finally got to eat taiwan porridge! Pulled fel n moony to tpy haha. N we had a great time laughing n trying to eat properly. lol

Watched e乐大赏 organised by SPH on sat at the marina floating platform.. sth like the equivalent of 933's 金曲奖。Our seats kept improving as i think the turnout wasn't v gd so we kept moving nearer to the stage.lol. Got to see chenqizhen.. her voice is like a refreshing breeze admist the ra-ra noisy event. And she played the guitar n brought along a cellist. Damn nice.
Other singers include stefanie sun who sang only 1 song (sianz), and it was some weird rendition of her dad's fav olive tree song again w some local band of uncles(opps), JJ lin, Olivia Ong, oh Aska's onion was v nice too, Show Luo ZhiXiang who was like super popular among all the deafening meimeis, but ok la he has great dance moves, shi xin hui, energy who danced well also, the HK actor Lin Feng and etc etc..
I think i m getting a chronic backache. Ok i shld refer to a doctor after end of this wk. think tt will b 14 days alr. it falls under criteria to refer if i din rem wrongly. lol.
I m craving for sushi and dim sum and lau pat sat all of a sudden. damn random.

saw the channel 5 news on tv mobile jus now. They were interviewing this engineering prof abt putting a rod on top of merlion to prevent future lightning strikes, but he said it would be too aestheically unpleasing n tt it would make the merlion look like a unicorn. lol gosh.
Then he discuessed the possibility of having a wire mesh painted the same colour on top. I can imagine some tourists would be saying.. ooh that merlion has a bird nest on it. lol. wads happening to our poor merlion man.
Good n cheap sushi is really not easy to find. Dun try the new one at the new clementi building.. variety is pathetic and was told by a waiter that having a fly in the sushi is a sign of freshness. And they are super zealous abt refilling ur green tea till it gets abit irritating. Amk suki sushi is still the best. nxt nxt wk! but it was still nice having dinner n chit chatting =)

Ok i should really blog. Ya i know mid sem break is over. haha. Had more or less a gd break. Sort of rested, studied abit, played abit. Ya quite a gd break i shld say as the pressure to mug for tests is not there. Is one of those rare mid sems that u get to relax a little, tho every1 is greedy, and will think that 1 wk is not enuff. including myself haha.

So the mid sem break is here =) Feels still quite the same other than the pharmaco test wk. shyt. Initiated the beginning of the break by rebelling at rebel haha. I think i still prefer mambo/phuture combi not so sian. But anyway we had fun but it was damn tiring. By 3am we're like dying alr. lol.

Found that 2 more sheets of lab results that yingshi photostated for me was missing. Kinda briefly recalled that raymond used some lab rpt look a like stuff to chop seats for his gang so i called to check if he has taken mine, but i failed to realise that at that pt in time I just entered the LT so yingshi wouldn't have known where i was siting thus wouldn't have placed it there. so i apologized for wrongly accusing raymond.

I am going to sleep early tonight and wake up early to go school tmr. Since i m feeling v tired as well. Was 20 mins for lab on mon, 45 mins late for lect today. This is really atrocious. I can't blame entirely on the traffic cox most of the time i dun make an effort to set off earlier. Always aim to reach jus nice. This shld change. But then it was really really bad today. i took like 2 hours to reach NUS la.
Sch work is piling up.. but the inertia is immensely great. keep feeling tired.
Btw Happy 22nd Birthday Moony =)) Can't wait for the end of the wk.
Sth interesting to blog abt. I was standing near the door/bus driver while busing to school on mon. Then there was this red maroon shirt student(not pharm tshirt of cox)sitting directly behind the bus driver. He was pretending to drive using his discman(as if using a discman isn't a sight rare enuff) as the steering wheel and was imitating all the bus driver's actions which includes raising his hand up/out to req motorist to give way and manouvering the gears/switches. It seem hilarious at 1st but the longer u observe him the more freaky u find him. No wonder the girl sitting beside him had her eyes closed. prob really sleeping or jus choosing not to see wads happening. haha.
Sch work is piling up.. but the inertia is immensely great. keep feeling tired.

Woah i m appraoching my 600th post. Scary manz.
Went back to cathigh today. Cox a teacher made an agreement with my batch of students to meet 10 yrs later 12pm at canteen. He was teaching 中华文学 when we were sec2 and was telling us some 君子之约 thingy or sth lydat btw some famous historical ppl la.. so he wanted to have the same promise with us. I din rem but our weiping ge did. lol=p but then the sch gate was locked and the wall that we used to climb over is now full of spikes. So of cox he wasn't there. Well come to think of it he shld be 70+ yrs old now.. jus hope that he's well n stuff n alive. I still rem him singing 满江红 during assembly. lol. Did manage to see a couple of familiar faces n of cox the usual gang.
Ate at bedok 85 on fri emo outing since i was heading to tampines after tt anw. 2nd time there. Attendance was pathetic. only 三只小猫。 But we still ate a lot =P The chicken wings def won hands down the laupatsat ones. Yum. 90cents per pc only. And had cheap n gd oyster omelette, stingray, prawn mee and ah ballings. Bloat. I think i LS-ed after tt tgt with all the CNY feastings for the past few days. goshs. lol=P

Did manage to see a couple of familiar faces n of cox the usual gang.
Ate at bedok 85 on fri emo outing since i was heading to tampines after tt anw. 2nd time there. Attendance was pathetic. only 三只小猫。 But we still ate a lot =P The chicken wings def won hands down the laupatsat ones. Yum. 90cents per pc only. And had cheap n gd oyster omelette, stingray, prawn mee and ah ballings. Bloat. I think i LS-ed after tt tgt with all the CNY feastings for the past few days. goshs. lol=P

Haven got to blog about CNY.. I m so lazy n laggy.
Spent chu xi at kc's place playing mj after eating reunion dinner at home. We started as soon as they finished countdown on tv =P And i won 20 bucks on 1st mj game of the year! yay. gd omen. ahaha. we're du guis!
Centre of attraction was prob my niece on 1st dya of CNY. HAha the hyperactive-cute-v friendly-unshy-still not talkative n irritating age. Haha. But more worrying was prob my aunt bah. she seems to the ctrl topic of discussion as well n there's like actually many small grps formed within the house to discuss abt her condition which seems to look like parkinson's disease.. and of cox i was being questioned n stuff n i had to recollect v hard from my lect notes, and her symptoms unfortunately seem to fit many of the 9 clinical features tt we had learnt. sigh. jus have to wait for the formal diagnosis bah. And i was really quite turned off when some of them said things like she's being possessed n stuff.. come on man. bring her to the doc quickly n start treatmt early.
Watched inkheart too. Which wasn't exactly fantastic. Was quite boring in the middle. No climax and everyting was quite predictable. Ending was too fast for the audience to enjoy.
Ahnehkins came over on chu3. HahaHa it was fun and hope they didn't mind that my place was kinda cramped. And kaihui brought over a pro to win our money in mahjong.. lol=P but nonetheless i lost like only 2 bucks and i got a free dinner from the couple! haha so i kinda 赚到. hiak hiak.

捞鱼生with my cathigh bros yest. At 6 am in the morning. after mj and dim sum supper at geylang. Haha. Hilarious experience as we're all zombified n cranky. Thanks to a pangseh kia n we also din have abalone! haha o wells. but was still fun.
This sem really feels alot slacker than last sem. doesn't feel v gd.. haha.. slack i also complain. ah bish.
Stayed home the whole of today n din touch my notes at all. But cleaned my room b4 my parents start nagging at me.haha
can't wait to go to chen qi zhen's concert alr!

Totally random
Went jogging in sch on tues n today, swam yesterday. Am proud of myself.
Killed a lizard with hot water. Actually my mum was screaming as she killed it halfway n din dare to continue. So i had to watch it struggle n squirming and clear the mess. Am disgusted with myself for inflicting such cruelty.
I think its a bad time to go for exchange now. With my dad getting an impending pay cut (still not sure) I really dun dare to open my mouth. Sigh. Am too poor to finance myself also. sigh.
